finally!!!

we have some HOT weather and it is beautiful! Apparently I'm not the only one enjoying this 90+ weather. I awoke to a lovely surprise this morning.

The falls

kick-off to summer!

My good  pal Chloe and I had the opportunity to hit Oaks Amusement Park as our official kick-off to summer.  It's a really cute amusement park set in the trees next to the river, complete with giant roller coasters and games and a vintage carousel built in 1905. There's also on old roller rink with original wood floors and the biggest organ you will ever see; it is absolutely beautiful. We spent most of the day on skates, as it was Chloe's first time at a roller rink, and of course she was a natural!  We had a blast!  It was an absolutely perfect day.  If you ever have the chance to go to this awesome place I highly recommend it. You won't be sorry!
