I received a package in the mail from my aunt Debbie. upon opening it  i discovered it was full of treasures..

some she had made, some of her old knitting needles, and some of my grandmothers old sewing tools mixed in with some odds and ends

and my great grandmother rose's dictionary (whom i was named after)

       I hope to make something this beautiful for someone I love

                      

 It was a perfect gift and I will treasure it for a long time

and of course the cats loved it too!

Diamond in the rough

Reve and I found this awesome gem/rock shop on sandy called  Ed's House of Gems. It was a really weird place!  There were old guns and old people everywhere and the parking lot was full of hot rods. It was really bizarre, like it had been suspended in time since 1972 . They had some really neat stuff including giant nautilus shells and a rainbow of agates. I went home with a purple agate and some crystals (NERD).

Health kick

I have been addicted to making fresh juice after my work outs. it keeps my from pigging out on other stuff and it's chalked full of vitamins, plus it is oh so yummy. today I made fresh carrot pineapple it was amazing!

hopefully all my hard work will pay off
