salty love

The other day I went up to NE Portland to visit the meadow, a great little shop specializing in artisan salts, fine chocolates and flowers as well as local and European wines

the salt by far takes the cake, you would not believe how amazing these salts are! with over 50 to choose from you can easily spend an hour tasting all of them. this to me was the best part. between the smoked salt, infused salt, black salt, and the salt stones for cooking, it was awesome! this place rules!

drew and i went home with five different salts including Hawaiian black lava, Maboroshi plum (pink) and a pungent black truffle, yummmm
