drew and I went to Chicago over the summer to visit some friends, it was my first time to the beautiful Midwest city and it was awesome! we had so much fun; we visited the art institute which was absolutely amazing!

The museums were amazing but the city as a whole was really cool, The old buildings were so awesome, and so was the above ground train! (I'm from a small town in Nevada. we barely had paved roads)
we went to a bar on the 96th! floor of then john Hancock building where we had a 20 dollar cocktail and stunning views!
the view from the ladies room is said to be the best...
and of course....we ate...disgusting amounts of food. it was fabulous
this is a blurry picture of of dinner at mado (best meal ever) drew ate a cow heart, i had a whole trout, every thing was local and organic. it was an amazing four course meal.
luckily Jill works there so we got a major discount, thanks mado you rule!
