sage and pine
I went to Nevada a few weeks ago for thanksgiving, and I had the best time...
a 20ft miner and cowboy welcome me home
after settling in for a few days I fed some horses and went 4 wheel'n with my uncle (like a true country girl)
I wonder if he could hear the muffled screams coming from inside my helmet? (definitely a city girl)
we found this random cross at the top of the hill
the views were amazing and let me just say there is nothing like the smell of snow and sage brush
we headed back to my aunts house for dinner and games

best birthday! ever!
here are some highlights from our fabulous trip to the coast
the house we stayed in was very cute and cozy. it was on a pond and only a block from the beach
there were wild strawberries everywhere
and plenty of driftwood and sea foam
the beach was freezing, but we warmed up with hot toddy's
and a hot tub
drew made us the most amazing family style dinner of clams and shrimp
leave it to my friends to bring the party, it was my birthday after all
the dudes cleaned up then we had a dance party
things got real wild!
and then....fire.....and sleep
the next day i got up and had breakfast and went for a walk where i found the coolest toad stool ever
and randy tried to eat them
